November 2006 Mrs. DeMita’s fourth graders rose to a challenge posed by Scholastic Book Clubs. Meeting the goal of reading 100 books by December 1 will allow children in need to receive 100 books donated by Scholastic. It is part of a nationwide Scholastic Book Clubs’ Classroom Care Literacy Program. Other MPE classes are striving to meet the same goal and provide even more books to children in need.
