Mountain Park Elementary celebrated Chinese New Year by observing a "Dragon Dance" parade by Ms. Welch's 2nd and Ms. Sherman's 1st Grade classes. In addition to 2 specially made dragons, the parade consisted of drummers, gong ringers, and children in handmade, traditional, Chinese dress and hats.
