Mary Ellen Robson,

Assistant Principal

I am proud to be the assistant principal of Mountain Park Elementary School.  Mountain Park has an extraordinary staff, talented students, and a remarkably supportive local community!

My career began as a middle school science teacher in Cobb County in 1985. In 1990, I moved to Esther Jackson Elementary School where I taught 5th grade for 2 years, moved to Sydney, Australia for 3 years, and then returned to Esther Jackson for an additional 11 years. In 2006 I became the Curriculum Support Teacher for River Eves Elementary School.  I was delighted to be promoted to assistant principal at Mountain Park Elementary School in July, 2008.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education from Georgia State University and my Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Georgia.
Go Dawgs!

My husband Brian and I are originally from New York, but have called Georgia home since 1980. Our 3 children, Meghan, Patrick, and Danny were all raised and educated in Fulton County.   We have a dog named Skippy, named after a famous kangaroo…the Australian equivalent of Lassie.  In my free time I am learning how to golf, love to play tennis, am an avid reader, and absolutely love to cook!

Go Mustangs!
